Some cute pics of cagged Spurr

This is my lonely little ferret, Spurr. I fear I won't be having him for much longer. As some of you may remember my niece & nephews house burnt down a few months ago and it took the life of their ferrets. I gave them 2 of mine and kept this guy. Although Spurr is doing great being an only ferret I know he can have a LOT more fun being with his buddies again. He just doesn't play with us, the dogs or the cats like he plays with his own kind. I have decided it is in HIS best interest that he go back with his buddies. I will have him for a couple/few more weeks as they live a couple hours away and we will cherish that time we have together. When the time is right I'll get another one or two for our family.

I snapped these really quick this morning before leaving for work.
Being mad that I put him back in his cage

    Look at my fangs

Please let me back out mom

Sorry they aren't exciting, but they are very cute!
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.

I've always liked ferrets. Are his eyes red all the time?

Perhaps you can find a new friend for Spurr and keep him? Sebastian didn't do well at first after Miko died in January. He did a period of mourning, but now he's fine as a lone ferret, hair or not!! He's a little terror when he's out of the cage. Follows me around, tries to follow Sasha (dog) around. Gets into EVERYTHING. Then settles down on the dog bed for a nap. Spurr might just need more time to adjust.

I would so love to get another ferret for Spurr, I have everything I need for multiple ferrets except a larger cage. I am unfortuanatly unable to afford a bigger cage though, that's my only set-back. I've keeping an eye on craigslist & freecycle as well as local newspapers & like, I even posted my own wanted adds on freecycle & craigslist, still no luck.

That's just the flash although his eyes are a dark ruby color.
