GREAT NEWS! Donna is coming home!

I was on the phone with Donna this afternoon and she said she'll be home around noon on friday. She has been given two new medicines and is getting togeter with her social worker to get the ball rolling on her assistance. Donna sounded so much better on the phone and she's SO excited to be reunited with Mooshoo and her other furbabies! If all goes well, she'll be back on PT then. I'm SO relieved to know that she is doing MUCH better.

Thats great news David. I sure wish her daughter would take her in, jeez kids are so much work to raise, I can't imagine not letting your mom move in with her kitties.

GREAT NEWS! With new meds, and her furbabies, and this assistance, she'll have a new life in no time!

As far as her daughter - hey, I love my mom, but to share the same space with her? No. I've been on my own a while and it is like forcing strangers to be roomates.

Mom and I ARE looking at a half-duplex or something that has two private entrances - THAT can work. But it means buying another house.

I think Donna will be better off on her own - and it will be better for the relationship with her daughter.

Talked to her tonight and she sounded great! She'll be back on soon, after tons of purrs and hugs and kisses to her babies. She's taking the proper steps so her life is better.
One day at a time, but she's gonna make it.
