My FIL had a heart attack today - UPDATE pg. 3.

We are waiting to know what is going on.
He is alive but other than that we don't know much.
He is a great man.
The funniest and sweetest person you could ever meet.

Prayers and thoughts to you and your family. I hope he is okay. We recently had this happen in our family, but my FIL got very sick with pneumonia as well and almost didn't make it, came very close, so I KNOW those prayers work. Wishing you all the best.

My husband just spoke to his mom.
She says that Jerry is stable but unconscous.
They won't let her in the room. I wonder why.

What worries all of us is that this is his second. He had one 13 years ago and they operated. He had a quad by pass surgery and the doctors gave him another 5 years to live after that because it was so bad.

They gave him another 5 years.... THIRTEEN years ago? Well, he has aklready beat the odds so lets pray he can do it again! Prayer for him and those who love him.

I don't know why they won't let your MIL in his room. I've never heard of that. Perhaps he is hooked up to some monitors and they don't want to scare her? Or maybe they just had to remove some monitors & wires before they let her in?

Anyhow, I hope he is doing well. Please keep us posted.
