    Rodeos?

Do you like rodeos? Do you enjoy going to them? I don't like them and will never in my life go to one. How they tie the bull's testicles and stuff... I just think its cruel like many other animal sports

The kind of rodeo where people get on the bull's back with one hand in the air... and they get the bull to go crazy by tying a rope around the bull's testicles really tight......

I have nothing against Rodeos, and have been to a few. also Mistys sire is owned by a national bull riding champian. besides the bulls are just made a bit uncomfortable for less then a minute. I would rather focas my energy against something thats truely cruel, like bull fighting, where the entire point of the sport is to kill the bull slowly and painfully then drag it still half alive out of the arena.

I love rodeos!! The bulls are not harmed in any way, they are just made slightly uncomfortable! they will not hurt them at all, the cowboys are the ones that get hurt, not the animals. Those bulls are worth tons of money, some are worth millions. I enjoy them very much, and go to them every chance i get!

Yup, I love them. The pro Bull riders Assoc.'s bulls are nationally known, they're like super-stars. It'r reall not that painfull for them and most of the better known ones act up a lot on their own. It's the crazy cowboys not wearing vests that get hurt!

I have h beengoing to rodios for 45 years and I beleive you have some mis infomation they do not tiethe testies. the rope is arond the body between the hip and end of ribs. it more or less tickles the bull. It's like putting tape on kitties paw bottoms they just try to get it off.

    I cannot stand rodeos.

I have lived most of my life in a little town called Pendleton, Oregon. It is a literal holiday there. It happens during the third week of September (every year) and people usually get out of school and businesses open up wayyy longer. I was working at a sub shop and they stayed up until past midnight (usually closed at 6, I believe). They shut down main street and vendors take up all the space in town (not to mention all hotels are booked. Troy worked at the official hotel of the national bull riders association or whatever). The town triples in size. There are parades, there is the native american pageants, there are all sorts of music and acts. It is like no type of craziness I have ever seen.

It is definitely a bigger event than any other in town.

Edit: Last year, they had budweisers Clydesdales there. HUGE and beautiful.

As Western riding is pretty unpopular here, I have never been to, and probably never will go to, a rodeo. As yet, I can't say I hate them because I do not know the full ins-and-outs of them, but generally from the snippets of writing I've read in a many a horse enyclopaedia, I don't think I like them. I find the skills of the Quarter Horse and rider barrell racing or rounding up young bullocks quite fascinating, but bronc-riding and bull-riding etc I'm not sure I agree with. Anyway, personally I don't see what's that interesting about how long some guy can sit on a bucking animal.

I never been to one but saw them on T.v.

I think it's crewl getting the animals mad and tieing rope's on them for fun.

How would you like to be sat on and have rope's at you everywhere and being pulled to the grown I dout you would like that (Unless your on somthing)

There is no fun in seeing these animals being made angry and thrown down.

I don't like them. Uncomfortable and scared vs in pain....seems like rodeos may be the lesser of two evils where bullfighing is concerned, but IMO just because something worse exists doesn't make rodeos any better.

    Thank you Wolf_Q!
