    Phone number trick

I got this in a forward, I thought it was cool!!!

    1. Grab a calculator (You won't be able to do this one
    in your head)
    2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number
    (NOT the area code)
    3. Multiply by 80
    4. Add 1
    5. Multiply by 250
    6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number
    7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again
    8. Subtract 250
    9. Divide number by 2

"Old dogs are like old shoes: they are comfortable. They may be a bit
out of shape and a little worn around the edges, but they fit well."
NEW ADDITION: 6 lovely Rhode Island Reds!

So cool! I guess it's just a simple math trick but it's neat to me.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

    Prolly neither one ...
Bet you were forgetting to use = (equals) Key after EACH step to
display each intermediate answer before entering the next step.

At least three tries for me!

it only works if you have a 7 digit number I think

here, I've got a simple one but trust me - it's the same principle

    1. grab a calculator (or even do it in your head)
    2. key in they number
    3. add 1
    4. substract 1

    see what I mean?

you have your number since the beginning anyway.
would be cool if you start with your phone number and end up with your friend's phone number or something like that
