    Samantha makes some curtains!

Some time ago, Samantha was impressed by her namesake in Vermont’s knitting ( Knitty Kitty ) and was inspired to do something creative around the house. On hearing that new kitchen curtains were required, she kindly made herself available.

Let me turn that hem up for you Mum.

Are you sure we need this much off?

I’ll just get this last pin in.

You can tell from the tools used that Samantha does not sew too often, but I was very impressed by her willingness to have a go.

Mine are ever so helpful when I try to sew too. They are especially good weights to hold the fabric down or if I am making a kitty bed to test it out an give their approval on it's comfort.

Samantha has rather flamboyant tastes, also, if she is going to use that pink thread in picture 3 to hem up the blue curtains! Or was playing with that the reward for making the curtains?

    Samantha makes some curtains

Such a talented girl you are, Samantha! As far as sewing, I know the needle from the thread and that's about it. But here you go making such beautiful curtains for Meowmie! There's no question that you have earned a few extra treats and tons of thank you scritchies!

    What a beautiful helper!!!

  12. Samantha! What a mother's helper you are! Edwina too, likes to supervise the making of curtains....she specialize in pin removal!

By the way...are you suing the pink thread for basting or are you going for a cheery pink and blue theme?

The title of this thread got my attention. I knew it wasn't my Samantha though because the only curtain she comes in contact with is the shower curtain in the bathroom that she likes to hide under when she takes a nap in the bathroom.

I'm very impressed with the work your Samantha does, she certainly pays attention to the details.
    RIP sweet Samantha
