I was asked why I do it....

These 11 precious little angels are why I post links to babies that need a furever home.

Because of some very special people on pet talk these first 8 are alive! They would have been dead right now if they hadn't been posted here. And ALL of them either have furever homes with these special people that stepped up when it was needed or have a safe place to go until that special person takes them to their furever home. I want to thank everyone that DID something no matter how small to save these fur angels. People often say there is nothing "I" can do, "I" can't take anymore, etc. There is always something EVERYONE CAN do even if it is just passing on the info for more exposure, making a few phones calls or emails. I am so very grateful and proud of everyone here that helped these babies and never ever gave up, and continue to help them by sending funds to Tracey for bailing them out. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!!!

You're a "Doo er" , Doo. I must say you make more of an effort than many people would consider. Those kitties benefit from your efforts, too.

Thanks, Doo, for working so hard for the ones who need help.

Beans and Bethel are being adopted by Lizzie, who is also going to foster the two gray kittens.

    We Did It...thank You Everybody!!

Well, all is ready for my trip to Olney, Illinois tomorrow morning. Thank you everybody for the generous donations. We have collected $220.00USD. This will cover the $110.00 USD for the first three (due to vet bills) and the other five ($20.00 USD adoption for each). That leaves me $10.00 USD to go towards gas for the trip. I will have to fill up at least three times. That will be about $90.00 USD. I also need to purchase a medium size cage for the babies. I only have four, two large and two medium, of which are full. So donations are still requested. Thank you to all those that have help, either donation wise, or passing on the message. I am anticipating our journey....almost a five hour drive!! God bless these babies and all involved.

I'm so glad to hear that these babies will be safe now. You're doing wonderful work. I can't wait to hear some updates. I just donated $50 through paypal so I hope you now have plenty of donations towards this.

Melissa, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am in awe of you and everybody who helps these poor cats to get a better life. You are angels and people with big big hearts and you will surely be rewarded for the good work you do one day, who knows in what way. But you are all amazing and I bow in respect to you for being such wonderful people and showing that humans can have humanity and use it for so much good.
