    need some serious help :(

I found this picture of what was titled "Brown Classic Tabby" in a Norwegian Forest Cat site. that cat is, in a nut shell, the perfect cat for me. But it's not easy to find. The lightning blue eyes and linx ears <3 plus the fur pattern and colour is unbelivable. I'm having a really hard time finding this breed of cat or cats that even remotly similar. any tips or breeder contacts that could help me out?

I can't really help you find a breeder, sorry. but if LOOKS are all you are going on (instead of breed characterisitcs) you can get a long haired classic brown tabby rescue cat and still have PURRfection.

By the way, the kittens eyes will NOT stay blue. They turn to their adult color after about 7 weeks (the kitten in the photo appears to be about 6 weeks old).

I second Jens post. Going purely on colours and patterns alone, I am sure you can find the perfect classic brown tabby anywhere.

Jen, don't Siamese eyes stay blue, though? Isis is supposedly part Siamese and still has her kitten blue eyes even though she will be one year old on Tuesday.

Oh yes, Siamese (and certain other breed cats) KEEP their blue eyes.

Yes, I agree that adopting a cat from a rescue group or shelter is the way to go. Sometimes shelters have purebreds too. I adopted my Sky from the Humane Society and have been told by breeders that he's a Norwegian Forest Cat/ Siamese Mix because he has blue eyes. The breeder told me that blue eyes are only acceptable in Norwegian Forest Cats if the cat is pure white. Good luck. There are so many wonderful cats out there waiting for wonderful loving homes.

Oh my! Its my Angel (I miss her!) Bear with me as I go down memory lane.

She lost that fuzzy fluffy look and is now one long sleek kitty. She's also HUGE (from what her new family tell me) She has copper colored eyes. They were blue when she came to me.

I have no idea what she is.... my best guess would be part Maine Coon based on her size and long hair but possible mixed with 50 other things too.

Ok, now I'm off to email her adoptive family and see how my Angel is doing.

"Brown classic tabby" simply describes this colour variation of Norwegian Forest cat. You'll find what you want on petfinder.com.
