well I couldn't make the bed could I?

Kylie was curled up with me this morning - I got up and showered etc -
and went back into the bedroom and there laid BOTH kitties!

this is a rare occurence so I of course grabbed camera
and took some pics of the 2
the almost resembled a ying and yang.







soon Kylie got off the bed and Kloe was still there -
I ended up throwing the covers over her where she continued to stay! I just peeked under the covers and she's still there!
This is highly unusual - she's usually on the go go
but we were up around 730 this morning b/c my parents were coming over to put up a shower head and breakfast so after they left I went back to bed. Her schedule is screwed up!

I think they do it on purpose so you can't make the bed, Sunny give me the most annoyed look when I try to make the bed and she's in the middle of it.
Although cats are tidy and finnicky I think unmade beds are their favourite messy thing!

I never make the bed, and its all the fault of the Found Cats who like to have the blankets folded so they can lie on them.
And you just mess the bed up that night anyways.

There's really a very simple answer to this. Your beautiful kitties were only pretending to be asleep. They were waiting for the opportunity to check for those dreaded bed mousies! Even though an unmade bed gives those mousies plenty of places to hide, it's easier for our kitty protectors to find them and flush them out. Please give your kitties some extra scritchies and tummy rubs for a job well done!!!

AWWWWWW those two look so darn adorable sleeping together. Don't you just love getting those pictures on camera.

I seldom have time to make my bed in the morning also, as I have at least 2-3 cats getting comfortable to put in a day of sleeping while I go off to work.

I took Kylie to a holistic vet and she does some animal communication and she told me that Kloe isn't as bad as Kylie wants me to think and doesn't hate her as much as she wants me to think they are!

Of course you couldn't make the bed. They were holding the covers down so that they don't become airborne and fly off into space! I am surprised that they stayed sleeping amidst all of the flashes. My Trevor in particular will open his eyes and meow at me as if to tell me how I have disturbed his rest.
