We are proud to announce the referral of our precious blessing from God, Mary Joyce.

DOB: December 16, 2005

Province: Jiangxi

She has lots of hair and precious chubby cheeks, and we are head over heels in love already. She is currently in foster care.

We do not have her Chinese name yet through one of those quirks of the adoption world, but hopefully we'll have that information tomorrow.

I am so teary eyed as I read over your website, and just in awe of how beautiful Mary Joyce is. I can only imagine your excitement at this huge piece of good news. Congratulations, congratulations!!!! I can't wait to see pictures when you return from your journey to bring Mary Joyce HOME!

I guess this really hits home for me, because just 3 weeks before we found out we were pregnant we went to an adoption seminar (AWAA http://www.awaa.org/home/) and were starting to seriously consider the option of adoption. We were told last fall that we were never going to have biological children, and we were really excited about this possibility of adoption. There were two ladies at the seminar who had adopted from China last year and their little girls were so utterly precious, and it was so easy to fall in love with these little girls.

I belong to another board (for poodles of course ) and one of the gals there has two adopted Chinese daughters. They are 3 and 5 years old now and absolutely the sweetest little girls!
