We bought an appartment at the Belgian coast!!!

Yippie!! I am so exited!! We were looking for 2 years already, waiting patiently untill the perfect location would be available....!

This is in Ostend, and it is only a 50 minutes drive from home! There are 2 bedrooms and a large walk-in closet. Plenty of room for us and the cats !!

It is on the 4th floor, facing the sea (see red crosses)

View from our balcony (it was low tide)

    the promenade

OMG those windows haven't been cleaned for a VERY long time....

view from window inside: see our open kitchen!

    everything is brand new

    sunset from our balcony

The previous owners are an old couple. The man had a trombosis in brain last year, so he cannot go to the see anymore. He is an artist, so he made the 7 paintings in the appartment. He said we may keep them if we like them!
    We LOVE them!!
    This is my favorite one

Wow, what a lovely place - Congratulations! It can't be much closer to the sea, so you will have some wonderful holidays there, I'm sure.

Did it come fully furnished, or did you buy it all? How nice you get to keep the paintings.

How many PTalkers are there room for?

It came fully furnished! We will remove the wall-to-wall carpeting, and replace it by parquetfloor . I cannot wait to go on vacation!!
OOPS, lots less gardening from now on....

Lovely! I hope you will all have very happy holidays there.

Remembering when my in-laws had an apartment near the sea, the windows can get like that after one storm!

Today I went shopping for somelife-essential stuff : a coffee machine, cutlery, a double duvet +covers, a cat-tower, etc... . It was great to go shopping and actually enjoying things!! I wasn't used to shopping anymore, since it had become an impossible task for me (my hubby did all the grocery shopping!!!).
He he, never thought that I would ever be looking forward to do more shopping these coming days

Ooh, how exciting! What a lovely place. Not sure how you clean the outside of windows on the 4th floor?

All furnished, and with original wall art as well. WOW! May you have many enjoyable times there.

Easily!! Open the door to the balcony and there you can clean all the windows! Of course you need a telescopic stick (you can make it longer or shorter). Piece of cake
