    My baby got neutered :(

I was so sad to leave him at the vet but everything went well. He seemed to like the vet, even afterwards , and everyone else, including dogs. The vet said to make sure he relaxes for a few days but that didn't last long. The very next day he was just as crazy as ever...thankfully he is starting to calm down more now...

Isn't that remarkable? Dogs teach us so much about life, don't they?

So glad he is doing well and that his mommy is keeping an eye on him!!!

You are a very responsible pet owner!!!!!!

It's always hard to leave a pet for any medical procedure, but I am glad he came through it with flying colors. I often think it is far harder for us than them. What kind of dog is he?

Thanks for your thoughts, it's nice to know others think I am responsible-I just try to do the best for him. When we got Bower they listed him as a boxer-mix (we got him from a boxer rescue) but we wondered what he was mixed with because he is all rusty brown except his ears, tail (yea only his tail), and some of his face are black...it seems the older he gets the more black we see. He also has a flashy diamond on his chest but its lined with black also....so with this I thought he was either mixed with lab or shepard. Now that he is 7/8 months we realize he is definately mixed with shepard-but it really is hard to tell because the only thing that doesn't look boxer-ish is his nose, his face looks more shepard and his lips don't hang quite as much as our boxers did-but it beats cleaning up all the slopped water afterwards. I swear our boxer seemed to hold as much water in his lips as there was in the dish and it only seemed appropriate for him to slob me right before class....typical One thing he does do and I am not sure what breed is typically known for doing such is he likes to sit on his hind legs and put both front paws in the air-it's so cute; he loves to shake his paw, it was almost easier for him to learn than sitting

ps-He grew from 18lbs at 2.5 months to 55lbs at 7 months (and he just started eating more-4 cups a day and that doesn't seem to be enough either), being a boxer mix does anyone think he will get much bigger? I know boxers grow for two years and I also know shepards can be decent size dogs so I just wonder what I should expect...probably not something that can be determined anyhow. I figure anywhere from 70-90 plus...maybe?
