    Jasmine in a Wedding!

My beautiful grand daughter was asked to be in a wedding this past weekend. Christy and Brian got new neighbors earlier this summer and they have two boys one is about 3 and 1/2 (A.J.) and the other is Jasmine's age 2 1/2. The kids have become great friends and Jasmine's calls them "her boys".

The parents were not married but decided to tie the knot this past weekend. They asked Jasmine to be the flower girl. I honestly did not think she would walk down the aisle (in this case it was an outside wedding and she had to walk down steps). On with the pictures.

All dressed up and ready to go

Do I really have to wear these shoes?

The dress is long - no one will notice my bare tootsies!

Jacob is having a tough time with the steps so here is being helped down

And here is Jasmine and A.J.

Standing up front during the wedding

Christy and I didn't think she would stay up front during the entire wedding - that she would end up with mom but here she is still in the middle of things

It is hard to believe that she did so well! She really did GREAT! You never know what is going to happen when you add those little ones into the weddings but this one was a pro!! She looked so cute and I bet you are proud of the job she did. (I would be)

Aww! She looked so pretty! She's a beautiful little girl.

I had the same thoughts about the shoes when I had to be in my sisters wedding.

My niece didn't want to walk down the isle at first, but then we told her she could just walk down there with me so she did. She was one of the flower girls, and we couldn't believe she actually threw her flowers. But, after she got down there, she only stood with me for a minute, then she wanted my mom to hold her.

Yes, I am very proud of my grand daughter. She is so precious to Carl and I. She is what has gotten us through this year that we lost our son. But more than that she is so sensitive to other's feelings like if I start crying she climbs in my lap and just hugs me. Her eyes light up every time she sees us (which isn't as often as we like since they live about 150 miles away). And when Christy talks to us on the phone she wants to talk too. That "Hi, Memaw" is a heart stealing sound for sure. She is our angel, our princess, our little love. I don't know what we would do or would have done without her!
