    Here we go again.....

Steamy California staves off rolling blackouts

LOS ANGELES - Scorching heat pushed California's electricity supply to the brink Monday as authorities investigated at least 29 possible heat-related deaths, most in the smoldering Central Valley where temperatures reached 115 degrees over the weekend.

Here we go again... And here I was thinking PG&E had fixed their power problems of a few years ago. I hope black outs don't happen up here, it was 115 today I'd die without the A/C

    Blah, blah, blah.

The heat and humidity are so horrible here. Over the weekend, it was well past 100*F. It's now almost 8PM and it's still around 97*F. I know of a few friends who are without power, and who knows how long it'll be like that.

I love California... but dang, this heat wave is driving me crazy!

Ouch! The hospital I transcribe for is in Sonora, CA and they've talked about the heat some I've noticed in some reports.

I made a little weather pixie too for fun awhile back

We lost power on Sunday for about 2 hours. It's been miserable for sure. 100-115 for the last week and my house has no AC, so we've had fans blowing like crazy.

It was 93 IN my room last night at midnight and it's been getting more and more humid.

I can't belive the heat wave we've had across the nation, and across the pond too.

With gas prices the way they are I haven't had too much money to spare on taking the jetskis out either; not to mention that some jerk stole the fuel jugs off of my trailer the one day that I hooked everything up to head to the bay.

Never thought that I'd look forward to the end of the summer, but this year I can't wait for fall.
