    Awesome Safari Park!!! pictures!!

We had SO much fun this weekend! My husband's dad and uncle were in town all last week and on Saturday we went up to Mt Fuji! His dad and uncle went up to climb Mt Fuji and Paul, Tyler, and I drove over to Fuji Safari Park. It was SO AWESOME!!! We actually got to FEED lions and bears!!!! It was kind of scary, but awesome all at the same time. Tyler had so much fun

    Look at those claws

    Feeding a LION!

    That was awesome, Mommy!

Tyler learned that lions, tigers, and bears go Rarrrrr. He decided that Cheetahs say "meow" though! lol! We saw tons more animals and had a great time It was so fun to watch Tyler watching the animals and to listen to him roaring at them

That looks like an excellent place for a child to visit. Were the animal habitats roomy enough for them?

The habitats were beautiful and enormous! It was all set in the foothills of Mt Fuji so there was lush greenery and trees and little ponds everywhere It was a bit pricey, but here in Japan that is to be expected

There is a zoo closer to our base that is so dismal and depressing All of the enclosures are concrete and the animals all look ill We've only gone there once because it is just too sad to look at.

Wow! That looked like a wonderful time and something you will remember forever! Cherish those pictures of Tyler at the park, he will enjoy seeing them one day.... and you will love looking back and remembering that time.
