How Often?

I kept promising myself I would start giving Drake Brewer's Yeast with Garlic and I finally bought a big bottle of it yesterday. It has 600 tablets and says to give 1 tablet for each 10 lbs of your dogs weight. Fine! But how often should I give it to him?

Hi Souraya. Sounds like they were describing the total daily dosage. The total "dosage" then would be around 7 pills=7omg?? (Not sure how much Drake weights) There should be no problem giving Drake the total dosage in one meal. But, if he eats twice a day, I would probably divide it up. Star and Cody get a powdered herbal supplement with garlic, brewer's yeast, spurulina and some other herbs. They get one Tbsp. in each meal. Did they have the powered form at the store? For a while there I was giving Star and Cody powdered brewer's yeast and would sprinkle garlic powder over that. Just wondering if he might like the powder better than taking pills. But, they probably taste good to him!!

I gave Drake 9 pills (he weighs 90 lbs) with his meal. My question was give it to him everyday? And from your post it seems so!

Sandra, Drake LOVES the pills. I don't particularly like the smell of it, but boy does he like that stuff. I gave it to him with his food. Now I shake the jar and he goes nuts! He!He!He!

Carina is 72 lbs. and I give her two brewer's yeast and two garlic capsules with her dinner every day all year round. That was the dosage indicated in the bottles, they may be different from the ones you have. In any case, she doesn't have fleas, so it must be working.
