Well just got home from our wedding weekend in Lake Tahoe. It was a blast! My family were the only one's present (Mother, Father, Father's girlfriend, both of my brothers, grandma & grandpa) because unfortunately none of J's family could make it. No one could ask for more perfect weather yesterday. It was absolutely breath taking in Lake Tahoe, not a cloud in the sky and about 75 degrees (much cooler than the 100 degrees here at home).
Our ceremony was beautiful, the reverand that did it was great. Absolutely perfect. Very secluded at a vista point overlooking the lake. We then headed back to our hotel's to change and headed off to the casino's. I won $1600 playing the slots.... I couldn't believe it, I just kept winning. My whole family was sitting there in shock, win after win (I've always been pretty lucky). That pretty much paid for our whole weekend (wedding included)....
Our 'reception' was dinner at a steakhouse in Lake Tahoe. We had a room to ourselves and ate, toasted, cut our cake and opened presents... J and I went back to our honeymoon suite (equipped with a 8ft. heart shaped jacuzzi tub) afterwards and the family went back to try their hands at the slots...
Woke up this morning, had a nice breakfast and headed home... My mom is still with us (she flies home on Wed and my youngest brother drove over with us as well - to visit my mom while she's still here - he'll be going home on Wed as well).
I'll go ahead & show you guys some pictures... These are the only 'good' ones we have so far - we still need pictures off the 4 other digital cameras that were there as well as our professional pictures.... I couldn't have asked for a better wedding, it was small, nice and private.
