    Socks, what a joy you must be!!!! I fell in love just reading about your sweet ways. You sure are a pretty boy and what a deserving COTD!! Congratulations you sweet boy and I hope you have a day full of rest on your persons chest (hmmm I'm a poet and didn't know it lol) AND I ALSO HOPE your day is full of exciting fish watchin, scritches and lots of luvin!!!!!

    Socks what a handsome gentle giant you are. You look so regal and calm, what a joy it must be to have you for a companion.
    I also have a dog who jumps into bed with me, some people frown on that, but there is nothing like warm cat or dog to keep you company. Congratulations dear, sweet, loving Socks Our Very Best Cat of the Day. I'm sure your family will be giving you some very special treats on your very special day.

    Well Socks, it looks like you have another long lost brother. This is Smokey...

    Sorry I don't have a better picture so you can see how much we look alike but I hate having my picture taken.

    As you can see I have a 'rat tail'. When my mommy picked me up from the shelter she thought it would grow in but it hasn't. It makes me special and everyone always asks about it.

    Although, I must admit I am a little jealous of your tail, I bet I have a louder purr then you. I love to sit on mommy and daddy's laps when they are on the phone and anyone they are talking to can hear me loud and clear.
