My dad and I are still looking for that perfect pup. Our plans were delayed because, as I posted earlier, my brother is trying to find a apartment so he can keep his Boxer. If he coulden't find one then Soul might've had to stay with my dad. Well the final decision is that Soul will be staying with my brother's girlfriend. He is really sad but knows it's best for Soul, as she will be living in a house with a big yard and another dog.

maybe beagle or hound?? she's a cutie, that's for sure! Just make sure you are ready for a puppy, they take A LOT of patience and time.

Thanks for the replies. My dad hasn't answered my email about them yet, so we'll see. I'm not sure if we will even go see these pups because we can't get a puppy until Oreo's kittens have homes and Oreo's spayed and back outside. How long does it normally take after you apply for a puppy until you find out if you got it?

That'd be great if you could adopt one They don't look very Dachshund like to me, they look more like a Golden mixed with another smaller/medium sized breed (maybe Beagle?). They're adorable though.
