It depends on where you go. It can be from $50 - $150. That's what it is here.
But the lowest here is actually $20, at the Subsidized Spay & Neuter clinic at the humane society. Molly was spayed there because she had to be, by the spay contract. I would NEVER get one of my dog's spayed/neutered there again. The place is absolutely filthy and Molly got an infection from her spaying and they never refunded or reimbersed us for it.

We payed around $65 to do snuggles. It also varies by breed and size. Snuggles is a small breed so she was cheaper. Getting it done at a vet is probably more expensive I don't know. But that is how it is.
Here the low cost spay & neuter are cleaner and snuggles was fine. Just check the place out first though.
It also depends on if you just want the neuter or if you want presurgical bloodwork done, fluid therapy, etc...
All in all when I take Kaige in to get neutered it will cost me approx $250-$300.![]()
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.
When we nuetered Sam, he had just reached 16 pounds, and we had to pay around 120 dollars. If he had been 15 pounds, we would've paid around 90.For spaying Molli it costed around 300.

around here it goes by weight! i got my Bloodhound neutered and my kitty spayed and all of their shots done for 200$!! which i thought was a great deal since duke weighed in at 80lbs!
Maggie,
I didn't slap you, I just high fived your Face!I've Been Boo'd!!
It can really vary. What I suggest is to call around to local vet clinics and shelters in your area and ask for price quotes on how much the procedure might run and what they include! BE SURE to ask what the procedure includes. One might cost more than another, but come with pain medication for afterwards and whatnot, or other preliminary bloodwork, etc.
I *think* our vet charges $50 for 50 pounds or less and however many dollars for every pound after that. There were a whole bunch of other fees on top of the $50 though. I think it came out to roughly $120-150 in the end.
