AWWW Man. that is going to put a lot of animals out!!!!The clock is ticking for a local animal shelter, in dangerous need of donations. It's the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, or SPCA for short.
They're in danger of shutting down or cutting back services because their bank account's the lowest it's ever been.
"We're going to have to cut back on our services drastically. We'll have no choice because we have to survive," says SPCA of the Triad founder Brenda Overman.
The local SPCA doesn't get any federal, state or local funding, so they completely depend on public donations.![]()
