    "Speak!" Bracelets

I picked one up at a pet store/boutique yesterday. They're $1 to $2 each, and all profits are donated to no-kill shelters and homeless animals. Has anyone else heard of these, or seen them? I took a picture of mine that I'll post once I can get my camera to hook up to my computer properly. For now, here's a description of them that I found on a pet current event website.

Doggles (Diamond Springs, Calif.) is donating net proceeds from sales of silicon bracelets for people to no-kill animal shelters across the country. The blue and purple bracelets are embossed with the word “Speak!” to encourage Americans to take a stand against the killing of animals due to overpopulation.

I wish there were more money being donated to kill shelters. Ya think they like killing dogs?

Yes, but the point of the donations is to allow the No-kill shelters to expand and take in more dogs to offer for adoption, leaving less animals to the Kill shelters.

I haven't seen that specific bracelet, but I bought a similar one at Strut Your Mutt. It's blue and it says "Save Lives Spay and Neuter." The proceeds were also donated to some animal rescue organization.
