The bad news is that some eggs have come up missing and we have no idea where they went. She nested on a shelf (out in the barn) where she and the eggs were surronded and protected by a few different items that would prevent them from moving (much more, rolling off!). There are no broken shells or bodies or anything anywhere. In fact, there is almost nothing (save for the good news) period. As she was always sitting on them, I do not believe that anything got to them. Perhaps she moved them?
The good news is that there *was* one egg left and it has hatched! The little baby is so freakin' adorable I could just hurl!He or she is only two days old (counting today and yesterday) at the most. Hopefully pics will be taken tomorrow! He or she looks like the babies on here: http://images.google.com/images?q=ba...O-8859-1&hl=en .
