    Happy 10th Birthday, dear Fister!!

    My dear Fister, it's 10 years ago we first saw you - holding on to the beam behind the dustbins, where your mom was hiding you and your sister for the first few days. It took a year before we managed to entice you up here, but now it's your home and you enjoy getting spoiled. OK, occasionally you want to go down and check everything out in the yard, and I must say you choose the oddest times - just when it's about to get dark.

    Today, we'll have extra long cuddles, and we'll celebrate with shrimps and your other favourite treats. We'll spend a lot of time brushing and you'll have a good wash with the wet glove you've come to like so much.

    We'll find your favourite catnip doll, and your little balls of yarn ... yes, I'll be happy to run around like a complete fool for you. Perhaps we can even post a video later... no promises.

    Fister, you are becoming a real "velcro" kitty, and I enjoy it! You often sit next to me by the computer and want tummy rubs, and at night you are laying cuddled up to me in bed, and purring me to sleep. You're one special boy and I love you dearly!!

    The other day, early evening, Fister wanted to come down with me, so I let him come along and check the yard.

    Here he is, looking for Pjevs' house. In the second one, he just generally checks it all out and chew on some grass. You can see he's very alert.

    I hope you having a wonderful day filled with shrimp and other yummy treats, not to mention lots of lovies from Mom.

    Randi, those videos are superb and I've saved them off in a special "Randi" directory. I was able to open them in Quicktime.

    I had to laugh at the last one. There he is, in all his glory, licking this favourite toy and he stops and looks straight at the camera as if to say "Mom, do you mind????"

    Please plant a kiss on that purrrfect forehead for me. Thanks.

    Randi, I took the liberty of putting them altogether on a WM for those who don't have Quicktime, hope you don't mind. Quality suffered a bit though.
