Our Petsmart treats the males MUCH better than the females..The females cups were so freaking dirty, and the males MUCH cleaner.

You know they do sell mostly Male Bettas.. I think the reason the males are more cleaner is they sell better due to their colors stand out more..

Yeh, I like the females a bit more than males for some reason.
But there will most always be more males for sale, due to their popularity (people like color and pretty finnage). They have female bettas at our petco, too, but I doubt if I'll ever buy one from there... the ones in the petstore in town are much healthier (its where I got Kabuki from).
