I would like to formerly introduce Toivo, a male pied cockateilI got him from PetSmart today, and let me tell you, I have never got an animal from a pestore that took such care with their animals! I mean he came fully hand trained and tamed, used to eating fresh greens, fully vetted, and on a contract!
I mean when I got Taru they caught him in a net, shoved him in a box and taped it shut! I was so shocked at the care they took, in all the years that I have had birds I have NEVER seen a store take that much care. oh and my faverite story lol as I was leaving the store with Toivo I nearly has a heart attck when a pied 'tiel comes flying over and landed in front of me! I panicked thinking that Toivo got loose somehow when I discovered that it was someone elses pied Teil, a person that happend to be entering the tsore, with her obviously VERY well trained 'teil!
and now without further adu, I would like to introduce TOIVO, his name means "hope" by the way, I wanted a finnish name to go with Taru which means "Legend"
