Rocky and Zazou - distant cousins?

My mom and I were looking at the pictures of Zazou in the garden (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=104407) and my mom remarked at how much our cat Rocky resembles Zazou. Even though they are an ocean apart they look like cousins. What do you think?

Isn't the resemblance amazing. Rocky is 8-years-old and a boy, though when my neighbor found him she thought he was girl and almost named him Zoey.
When Rocky developed a severe case of crystals in the urine a few years back, we took him to the doctor and he almost died. He was that sick. The vet had a hard time checking his privates because he has so much hair on his behind, but when she finally was able to get a look we found out that Rocky was a boy. My neighbour's daughter thought that Rocky was a girl because he meows like a girl. Gee, I never knew male or female cats had different meows.

Rocky is the picture of health nowadays and runs around like he's full of the beans, playing tag with me or my mom in the morning and running at full gallop, meowing the whole time and getting into all kinds of mischief. Like Zazou, he loves wet-food.

WOW, they both DO look alike and both just as gorgeous.

Rocky is one determined cat to get to those plants, isn't he. LOL!!!

Wow, what a resemblance!

Too funny how your mom kept moving the plant and Rocky just followed along. I had one of those plants long long long ago. Tubby wouldn't leave it alone either, so I had to get rid of the plant. But not to worry, it went to a good home. My mom took it and her cat could care less about it.

Funny you should say that Debbie. Eventually, due to Rocky's eating habits, my mom gave that plant and a few others to our building's superintendent to put in the lobby.

Yes, they look exactly alike! Amazing resemblance, that's for sure. Such gorgeous cats!!
