A Special Day for the E's

Being foundlings...I have no birthday to celebrate for either Eddie or Edwina. And I'm not good at Gotcha Days ( I am not even sure of my wedding anniversary. I know the month and the year....and it is one of two dates...I just am never sure which.... )

But.... I know May 2 is the day both of them were Cat of the Day....just don't ask me which years....

So....happy May 2 to my sweet babies.....

I am like you when it comes to dates! If I am lucky enough to remember the month and date, I can not remember the year. The ONLY reason I remember the year I moved back to La. is because I was just leaving for Florida to pack up my stuff when the planes hit to towers on 9/11 and I couldn't decide if I should continue on with my trip or turn around and not go.

I remember Eddie's gotcha day like it was yesterday. It was June 20, 2003. Can you believe it's almost 3 years already? Of course, there could be some debate as to the "officialness" of that date because that was the date I dropped him off, but it was Sunday, June 22, 2003 when I got the call asking "Would you mind if we kept him for a little longer?" The rest is history. Eddie is still living the longest weekend visit ever.

If there are Any Cats that were born to be Cats Of The Day,it was Eddie and the Light in JJJ3s Life HH Lady Edwina Rose.
They look so Great and thats wonderful that they are getting closer.

Sara, I'm not sure I ever heard the story about how/when you got Edwina ... or I'm having a senior moment.

Edwina really is sweet, and oh so soft. I'm glad she is willing to pose in all her hats for us - what style she has!

You know my favourite is Eddie, he is simply gorgeous! I remember very well when you got him, I was on pins and needles that weekend. I SO hoped he would charm his way in and befriend Edwina. It took a while, but it was worth it!

LOL about your wedding anniversary - you sure can't blame Don if he ever forgets.

Debbie, have you still got the photos of Eddie you posted when you got the note about him? I didn't find them last I searched.
