Tomorrow I will be celebrating my best buddy's birthday. I never knew a dog could mean so much to me, but Tiger has proved that point. Don't get me wrong I love all of my dogs, but Tiger is my heart & soul dog. The first time I ever saw Tiger was when my grandmother had him. She had him & his brother PeeWee. She took the puppies everywhere with her, but a few months later my grandmother got stung by a mosquito in Texas & got a virus called encephalitis. It left her in a coma for about 4 months. So we ended up taking one of the puppies & my uncle & his family took the other puppy named PeeWee. I decided to name the puppy Tiger. It was the springtime of 1995. I was only 9 years old. We don't really know the birthday of Tiger or the gotcha day so I just celebrate it sometime in April every year. After my grandma got out of the hospital she could not care for the puppies anymore so we ended up keeping Tiger until this day. Tiger was the runt of the two. No dog will ever compare to Tiger. He is a very spoiled 11 year old dog! wait he don't think he's a dog. He thinks he is a human. He will listen to each word we say, ride everywhere with us, go on weekend vacations, & stay with me when I am sad. It was funny because when I was a kid my mom would try & give me my medicine when I was sick and Tiger would stand on top of me trying to protect me. Tiger is the most loyal dog ever. I really could go on & on about the good characteristics of Tiger, but I would honestly be listing for a very long time so I will stop here.
We almost lost Tiger last year by a terrible accident, but I am sure glad we did not. Tiger is pretty hip for an older pup. He can get down and rough with the younger dogs.
I am going to celebrate Tiger's birthday tomorrow filled with gifts, treats, fun, and good ole pettin!
This is all what I have gotten Tiger for his birthday. I got him a new waterbowl & a few small stuffies and squeakies. Tiger only likes the small toys so that is what I got him. Also tomorrow I am going to go through the drive-through tomorrow & buy him a kiddie hamburger & let him eat half of the hamburger meat!! He won't mind that at all. but shh don't tell Tiger what I got him.
