    Sharra's Pet Talk Debute!

I got a new bunny in November. We wanted to bond her to Jaxom so that when we moved to Georgia he wouldn't have to spend the 16 hour car trip alone and scared. Unfortunitly that didn't work as Sharra got VERY mean towards him right before me moved. Two days after arriving down here Sharra gave birth to 5 darling babies. Guess we know why she was so grumpy . She must have come to me pregnent as both of my boy rabbits are neutered and it was a total shocker when she gave birth or else we would have never moved her. She will be getting spayed here soon. All the babies have found homes but one, adorable, black male.

Sharra has the best personlity ever. She loves human attention and just craves for someone to pet her. She is very calm and very confident which is just what Jaxom needs. She got her name because in the Anne McCaffrey Pern series (books) Jaxom (the charactor my Jax is named after) is married to a women named Sharra. Since we hope they will become a bonded pair the name seemed to fit.

Anyway! Here are some pictures of Sharra. She is a mini Rex like Jax and her color is Broken Calico...

Got look good for the boys!

    What was that?!

Tell me you heard it to!

    Cuddling with Jaxom

She is absolutely beautiful! Hi, Sharra!

How big is she? What big ears she's got! Some people have said Miss Hoppy is a Mini Rex (that's what she was labeled when we got her), but her ears are smaller than Sharra's are. We think she's a mix of Rex and Netherland dwarf, she's almost 4 pounds. But both Sharra and Miss Hoppy have those swivel ears that indicate what direction they're listeing in, and how hard!

critter crazy - She does look like your buttercup!! She is adorable!!

Karen- Sharra weighs about 5 pounds. She has lost some baby fat since those pictures though. I could see some mini rex in Miss Hoppy. Any new pics for us Hoppy fans?

buttercup132 - As stated in my first post, it was not my fault Sharra got pregnant. Both of my boys are neutered and were neutered at 6 months of age (they are now 1 and 2). The only explanation I can find is that she came to me pregnant. Also, since I do not own any un-neatured animals, there is no chance of her getting pregnant while she waits to be spayed, which is still going to be soon as I am doing it for her health and happiness. I am a firm believer that animals should be spayed and neutered.

    lvpets2002 - Thanks! I think so too
