    Well... one more try.

As I said, we were building the fence last weekend. Hours later we were finally done. We left a portion of the pasture because the neighbors already had electric fencing there. We put Jack out first, to see what would happen. Once he figured out he was able to run around he started galloping around. I thought it was going pretty good until he started chasing Black Jack (a goat) and he cornered him and bent his knees and put all his weight on top of him. My dad started yelling at Jack to stop before he killed the goat and he got off and ran after him again and jumped over the electric fence!! My dad left me he said "You wanted him out, you go get him." So I caught him. Well my dad won't be able to finish the fence until June so we are puting this white tie stuff on the electric fence to see if that works. We can't even let Dreamer out until we know she won't get out. Anyways, please keep your fingers crossed that this works.

It didn't work. He was fine for a couple days, but he jumped over the fence. You'd never think the little guy was capable!

I would like to... it's just that isn't our electric fence so we coulden't do anything w/ it. My dad bought a dozen fence posts and marked the holes... so we will be building it when it drys out a bit.

Wow, Jack must have a good jumping ability! Maybe if he accidently touched the electric fence and got zapped, he would be less keen to jump over it I hope Blackjack is OK. And good luck with everything
