More PT Prayers Needed For Elvis

Well, after having an amazing two years with Elvis it looks like we are nearing the end. For a kitty that wasn't supposed to last two months he's chugged right along and blessed us with two extra years of Big Kitty love.

Last week Elvis started to vomit. And it had some blood in it. We took him in and worked him up and it looks like he's got protein in his urine. Basically this means that he's got a condition that is punching little holes in his kidneys. There is no cure for this condition and I absolutlely don't want him to suffer. Elvis gave them rubs and head bumpies while they performed his ultrasound today. Everyone at the clinic was really bummed.

I'll let you know what I find out tomorrow......

My goodness, this poor boy has really had his share of problems.

ANd kept his laid back, loving attitude the whole time. Really a one in a million kinda kitty.

Awww...head bumpies and all that...

I don't know what you mean by 'find out tomorrow' - Elvis was a two year miracle...I can only pray for another one.

We sent one test out to the lab that will have the definitive results. We should get it back tomorrow.

Oh no, I'm so sorry about Elvis. While its amazing and great he gave you two more years, never is a good time to lose one of our kitty angels.

I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. When its time for sweet Elvis to free his broken/used up body and go to the RB, I wish for peace in both your hearts.

I'm sure my RB Livvy would love to show him around the RB and be his friend. Black (Livvy) and White (Elvis) kitties always look so great together.

(He sure is a beautiful kitty, btw.

I'm so sorry about him/you having to part ways at this time. But, you'll meet again, he's just keeping your spot warm.

Thanks for posting those pics...he is such a lovey boy, I can see headbumps lurking in every photo - except in the first one that begs for tummy rubs!

There will be loving memories, if the final step comes....bless you for giving him two more years than he might have had on his own!

I still have the Card that you sent me Years ago with Elvis and His Friends sitting by your fireplace.
I am sorry that hes not well.
But maybe they need a Very Special Cat at the Rainbow Bridge.
I am Praying for Elvis,that he does not suffer.
