Just thought I'd put in a plug for the Shelter this man started.

I was crying by the end of the story. What a wonderful man and mission he has in his life.
Thanks for posting this.

You should read the book "the man who talks to dogs". It's about this man and it's fascinating. He has suffered greatly--emotionally, psychologically, physically and financially for his cause and still manages to stay hopeful and committed to helping as many as he can.
If you are lucky enough to find a way of life you love, you must find the courage to live it.

I will look for it tomorrow. Thank you for the suggestion. (still praying for Delta's homecoming).Originally Posted by Glacier

Hi! I am actually in St. Louis, MO and have met Randy Grim at his book signing for Quentin the Miracle Dog who survived the gas chamber. Stray Rescue is a wonderful organization and this man has had to overcome much to help these dogs. He can see the beauty and love in each and every dog even when the rest of the world has given up on them. I've also read his other book - The Man Who Talks to Dogs and it is very enlightening. Tells stories but also give statistics. I was FLOORED when I read about how many animals die in shelters each and every day!!
