    Who's The Authority Here?

    Anybody see Bob's Dad's post on the paternity issue when it comes to "supposed" multiple impregnancies (see "mixed breeds"). Bob's Dad is a little off the wall sometimes (and funny) and I can't tell if maybe he is just pulling our collective legs or not? His story can't be true... can it???

    I believe it is possible for a female to get pregnant by more than 1 male as in the scenario here.

    Yes, there are say 8 eggs in the female uterus each needing one sperm. If she is mated by two dogs there will be sperm from both of them swimming around in there. Any of those could get to each egg. Usually the mating happen in the same day or a day or two apart at most.
