We went to the dog park on Saturday and decided to bring Reggie.He's normally a total brat around other dogs, I thought we were pretty much insane to bring him. I planned on keeping him on a leash the entire time.
Well, there was only a couple of dogs there when we arrived, and they left soon. We had the entire park to ourselves so I decided to let him go ahead and try it.
He barked and chased Lady and Nebo for a bit, but not much. I let him stay off leash even when more dogs arrived. He was SO GOOD, I couldn't believe it. I'm still not sure if that was really Reggie at the park.He pretty much just sniffed noses and followed me around.
Nebo was actually a bigger pain...he likes to chase dogs down full speed while making vicious growling noises. It sounds worse than it is, he's just playing Nebo-style...but it doesn't always look so good...
