Dearest Onyx, you are awesome indeed! What an utterly gorgeous hunk of a guy you are, with that glossy ebony fur that looks so soft, and that sweet face with the long, long whiskers and those lovely big golden-green eyes gazing out at me. You are absolutely gorgeous in those great photos, so relaxed in your favorite spots in both. Thank you for sharing them with us. I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Washington to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me .

And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You're quirky and quite talkative, an interesting combination there. You're very affectionate, and you welcome your dear Purrrson home by responding to her/his questions about your day. You enjoy relaxing on her/his lap, but you get annoyed if a cell phone call comes in while you're there. You get up and leave, making it clear that you don't like your time with her interrupted! You have been with her and blessed her life over the past 17 years. Your 17th birthday is this Friday, February 11! And you look much younger, in that magical way that cats have. You and your Purrrson love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
