Dearest Painter, what a beautiful lady you are! You are so pretty, with that thick, soft-looking fur in that interesting Tuxedo design, and that sweet, sweet face with those lovely big green eyes. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us! They show off your beauty, both physical and spiritual, so very well. I wish I could reach through the screen and down to Indiana to pet you, and pet Sam too. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Meowmie will pet you both for me .
And what a wonderful Purrrsonality you have! You first came to dear Meowmie when she had just lost her wonderful black lab. You were her angel in her grief, helping to bring her comfort and peace. You also helped her raise two boys plus your kitty housemate Sam. You love to lay in the sun until your fur gets so hot it can hardly be touched, and you say "gaa" instead of meow!
We're so sorry you lost your sight. We agree, your dear Meowmie should not feel guilty. She has taken excellent care of you, and these kinds of things happen as we get older, with kitties and people and all. You are doing well with it, taking your liquid chicken-flavor blood pressure medicine "like a champ!" You and she, and Sam too, no doubt, all love each other dearly, don't you.. "so much there are no words." (Yes, we cat lovers all understand that kind of love.) What a delightful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Painter, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Meowmie and Sam and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
