Dearest Philip, you are adorable! You're so pretty with that white fur that your dear Purrrson says is soft as a cottontail, and that sweet face with huge ears and those lovely big eyes, one blue and one green. You are absolutely gorgeous in both of those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us! I wish I could reach through the screen and down to Lacassine, LA to pet you, and pet your Devon pal Max, too. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you both for me .
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You make your dear Purrrsons smile with all your energy and antics. You are a great hunter, catching any insects that get into your house, a job that keeps you busy and you take very seriously. You love taking walks on your leash, but you're scared of loud honking geese! (I think I would be, too.) You also love laying in the sunshine and sitting on an open window. You're very vocal, and you aren't a picky eater but will try anything once. How nice that you have your very own cat, Max! You and he and your Purrrsons all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Philip, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and dear Max and your dear Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
