Prayers for you, Borzoimom...I hope you can at least get some personal counselling, through your doctor, or through a church if you have one (or even if you don't).
As Dear Abby always said, even if your other half won't get counselling, make sure you do.

PRAYERS and a miracle needed for 9-month-old Larissa. She has a 2 1/2 year old sister and two loving parents.
She was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour just a few days before Christmas. FINALLY they did operate, and removed as much as they could...she was back home the following day, and very much herself.
Then a specialist came in from the east...they decided to try chemo on the rest of the tumour...they put in the shunt, and little Larissa hemorrhaged.
It looks bleak. PLEASE pray for the family - the mom is from Colombia, and her aunt was flown up to be with her (the mom's mom died years ago, and she is very close to her aunt). Her husband's family is there...they are all just waiting.
Larissa needs a miracle...and I hope and pray the good Lord sees fit to give her one.
Thank you, PT people.

Dad went in for laprasopic surgery but his galblader was really inflamed from a chronic problem so he was the 1 out of 500 surgeries where the surgion had rto open him up and do it the old fashioned way so he'll be in the hospital a couple more days but we saw him after and he's doing fine.
He said it was really inflamed and something about calium around it so scaring or more stones forming in there or something but obviously he's had a problem for a long time to get that bad but because it was that bad he couldn't see for laprascopic.
and for the bone marrow test. The doc said no signs of cancer but the fact he has the protein means each year that goes by means there's a 1% chance per year that it'll turn to cancer. So I suppose if the lives another 25(he's 68) years that's a 25% chance it might turn by then but each year is just 1% chance so with his age and all not a real worry but they will check him ever 6 months or so, but just a blood test to see if the protein rises.
Poor Larissa, I will be praying for her & her family. I hope she gets her miracle, sweet baby.
I don't post here often, but I read every request, and ask that you may each receive your highest good.
Update. I'm sorry this is late. My co-worker's dad went into hospice last week Wednesday and died last week Friday morning. My co-worker was relieved that her dad was out of pain. She was out the first part of this week. We were glad to have her back and she said she was glad to be with us again.Originally Posted by borzoimom
One more, a praise - I have a friend whose brother has leukemia and needs to have a stem cell transplant. My friend was tested and is a match to her brother, so she will be the donor probably in 4-8 weeks. He has to have more chemotherapy first. Her whole family is glad (and I am too) because they don't have to search for a donor.
Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!

Update on Larissa: The tumour, even though some was removed, is a very aggressive tentacle-type in her brain.
I talked to Greg (my priest) yesterday, and he said she is going to die. She is aware, not unconscious, and responds to her family's voices.
Prayers, please - for a miracle (that's what it would take). Prayers for love and peace for the family, and for Greg, who has two daughters of his own. This has been very tough on him and his wife, Kathleen.
Prayers again for Larissa - that she can go in peace and innocence.
BTW - Greg also presided at a memorial service yesterday, where I did some music. He raised the question that many ask - 'where is God in all this' - and said that God was present through all us people that came to support the family.
If love is God, and vice versa - God is in this prayer thread.
Thank you.
