They do that when one's red blood cell count is dangerously low. Thank goodness you had that appointment, Lisa!

Thanks everyone. Keep those prayers coming. Biopsy results indicate uterine cancer.
Waiting for the doctor to call to get surgery scheduled. They don't know what stage it is until after they examine the removed uterus. They will take out lymph nodes also. If they are cancer free then I will not need chemo or radiation.

Bobcat is holding up well. Cammie is ignoring me (as usual). Pepper acts like I don't even live here (as normal) and Willow continues to be my sweet, snuggly girl. So, as far as I can tell, they aren't disturbed or worried, so I've decided to take a page from them and do the same.
Ask your vet about microchipping. ~~ It could have saved Kuhio's life. And it cost Halo hers.
Consider having your cat tested for Polycystic kidney disease ~~ Rest in peace Willy

    Continuing prayers from here too.

Prayers that everything bad comes out and stays out!

I've never heard the lymph nodes being tested with uterine cancer, only breast cancer. Sounds like they are on top of things.

HUGS and enjoy relaxing with your kitties...even the ones that don't care. Silly kitties!

Prayers and positive vibes being sent for you, Lisa. Hopefully it was caught at an early stage and is relatively easy to treat.

    Cancer Free!!!!!!
Tumor was Stage 1. It had not spread to any other organs. It was not in any of the lymph nodes.
Don't need radiation or chemo. Good to go to start getting back to my normal life.

Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers.

I had a first time bad reaction to anesthesia tho - something I never had previously - a wicked migraine and severe nausea. It took from Wednesday afternoon until Thursday evening for them to find a combo of meds to relieve both. I was soooooo sick! Once that was remedied, I felt fine, or as fine as could be expected. I'm tired and feel like I was run over by a bus, but that's to be expected. I ain't no kid no more! I can't do much of anything - including driving until after my first post-op appointment in a couple of weeks. Everything's cool - right???? - not so fast. I was getting dressed to come home, and I ruptured the tendon in my left shoulder. Of course I said nothing to them at the hospital, since there was no way I was staying any longer - I'll just deal with it later. I've been keeping heat on it when possible, and I have the muscle relaxers and pain meds for my back, and that's about the only thing they would do for it anyway. I tore the one in my right shoulder 7 years ago, so now I have matching "popeye arms". Never a dull moment here!

    It's good to be home!

I am so glad that Pomtzu is home! I lit candles for Kuhio98 and for Pom
Yikes! I've been Boo'd ... right off of the stage!
