Chipoo momma!
when i get my blue and gold macaw here in a few days i was wondering if for the first day or so i should leave him in the cage to get ued to his surroundings. i will not be changing his cage. it's gonna be the same one he's in now. so should i leave him in the cage or get him out so he can get to know me and my family???

I used to have a Blue Front Amazon. When I first brought him home, I left him in his cage so he could get used to his surroundings. After that I let him out. I didn't take him long since I lived in a small place.

we live in some what of a small place.....how long should i leave him in the cage? a day, a few hours?
