Dearest Mickey, you are gorgeous! What a good-looking grey Tuxedo guy you are. Your grey and white fur is so pretty and looks so soft, and you have such a sweet face with that darker-grey nose and the white whiskers and the lovely big golden eyes. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us! I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Mount Horeb, WI to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you for me .
And what a nice story you have to tell! Your dear Purrrsons first saw you more than 14 years ago, a growing boy outside for several days. They couldn't lure you indoors but finally got you with a live trap, and how good of them to go that extra mile. You've been home with them ever since! You've never lost your fearfulness at strange persons or things, but you trust your dear Purrrsons and Nancy the pet sitter/cat whisperer completely. You relax totally at home, don't you, as those photos show so well! You like to keep warm, in winter in your bed in front of the gas stove, and in the summer lounging on the porch settee. (In that middle picture, are you warming up your under-side by the stove?) You enjoy playtime, jumping at movements under blankets, tarps, etc., and following a moving stick. You and your dear Purrrsons love each other so very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Mickey, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope your dear Purrrsons and Nancy and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
