Dearest Tootsie Belle, what a gorgeous Tortie Love Cat you are! You have that beautiful orange, brown, black fur that looks so soft, and that sweet face with those lovely pale green eyes full of love. I wish I could reach all the way around the world to Wentworth Falls in Australia to pet you! (Since I can't, I hope one of your loving family members will give you some pets for me ).

You know what a wonderful home you have, don't you! We are so glad your Purrrsons went to the RSPCA to adopt a cat needing a home and wound up coming home with both you AND Puss. You had a rough start to your life, but thank God you were rescued and now will be loved to bits for the rest of your life. You are full of conversation and catitude, and you can't get enough cuddling and loving. You even sleep stretched out on the pillow between your Purrents. What a delightful love-filled home you all share!

Congratulations, darling Tootsie Belle, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear friend Puss and your humans and your whole family are enjoying a fine day of celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
"Cats," he said eventually. "Cats are nice."

Tootsie Belle is the best talker in the world. As soon as we picked her out of her cage at the RSPCA animal shelter almost a year ago she started 'talking' to me and I knew she was the cat for us.

She is the most loving little being in the world. She had a difficult earlier life, having lost one and a half teeth, probably from a kick in the mouth as she also has a scar on her lip. Her communication skills are second to none and she comes and miaows to let us know she is going out and when she comes in. It isn't possible to kiss and cuddle her too much as she just lives to be loved and she sleeps on our pillows between our heads - often stretched out so we only have a couple of inches to lay our heads. She has plenty of cattitude and keeps the garden clear of vermin, she is so proud if she catches a rat and we have had several 'presents' laid out for us to admire, usually during the night on the bedroom floor. She left the RSPCA with our other cat Puss, and the man at the shelter said don't take them together as they don't get on but, after nine months,Tootsie and Puss are firm friends.

Tootsie is a champion sleeper, if there was an Olympic Category for sleeping she would win a gold medal. Tootsie will be loved to bits for the rest of her life.
Hello, Tootsie Belle! I love tortie cats! What a gorgeous girl you are with your green eyes and your plush tortoise-shell coat! I would be happy to snuggle with you - but since I can't I hope your people will give you an extra snuggle for me You bring home 'gifties' for your people, and you talk to let them know when you are arriving or leaving! You have busy days with your kitty-sibling Puss, too! I hope that you and Puss are having a wonderful day of celebration, maybe playing with toys, inspecting the garden or eating a delicious treat! Happy, happy Cat of the Day, beautiful Tortie Tootsie!

    Too precious Tootsie Belle!

Hi Tootsie Belle from Down Under! Happy Cat of the Day! You do know what a stunning, breathtakingly beautiful Torti girl you are, right? Well, if not, I'm sure your people tell you just that each and every day! And of course you're a "big talker!" You want to make sure your family knows just how much you appreciate them for welcoming you into their lives after such a horrific start at life, to tell them just how much you love them! Olympic sleeper, award winning vermin slayer (lots of exotic vermin to be had in Oz, hehe), consummate conversationalist and *drum roll,* "the most loving little being in the world." What more could a family hope for in a furkid? You're pure perfection, sweetheart, and your humans so very blessed to have you in their lives, bringing so much joy and love to their lives! Thanks for the BIG SMILES, sweet baby girl! I know you're sleeping now, but tomorrow, be sure to pack in a 2nd day of revelry, celebrating your big day in the spotlight! You deserve days of extra spoiling! Lots of love, cuddles and kisses to you, beautiful Tootsie Belle!

    Star,Tigg'r , Mollie and the10 Gallon Gang!

And my Rainbow Bridge Furangles...Jingles, Cody, Fritz, Chessa, Satin, Buddy, Lizzie, Oliver, Squeaker, Moonbeam, Rosie, Ruby~

For some reason Tootsie only kills rats, thankfully because the ones she catches are very large as we live 100yds from a National Park. However, she brings in mice and lizards live and lets them go in the house presumably as an invitation for us to play with them! My husband then has to catch them and put them out in the garden whilst we keep her in. If I didn't have a husband I'd have to leave home as I couldn't bring myself to pick them up. After a deluge of rain for the last couple of days she has today presented us with two live lizards about 6 in. long. Luckily she isn't the slightest interested in birds as we have lots and lots of them in the garden and she just walks around them. Her friend Puss shows no interest in catching anything, she lives to eat and has a very fat tummy which I am sure the vet will comment on when she has her yearly check up next week.

Perhaps she could get a job at one of the islands they are trying to rid of rats for a bird sanctuary! She seems to be a specialist!
