    Changes - Feedback please!

On all three websites - Pet of the Day.com and Dog of the Day.com and Cat of the Day.com we have changed the format for the "Previous Pets" - when we first started the websites, back in 1997, and 1998, many people were still on slow dial-up connections, so we had the "by date" page that contained no graphics, just text. But we have just spent time redoing the format so you an continuously scroll back - not infinitely, but we set it at a year at a time.

At the bottom you can chose any specific year.

I have made notes of small problems on the pages that we will fix, but any feedback would be welcome, particularly as you all have different devices, different operating systems, etc., and we want to make sure that people like it, and that it works for everyone!

I like it! As I scroll through the pictures, I smile

I like the forward and back buttons with the kitties on them, too!

It looks great, Karen. Just one thing... July 2013 isn't centered.

Also, you might consider moving the "Welcome" text down a tiny bit - it's almost on top of the parrot.

You also made the fonts bigger (the ones next to the pictures), didn't you?

Thanks for all your hard work, Karen and Paul!

Dear Karen, I really like that each cat's name and information is there with the photos. That is a real aid in remembering and finding any particular one.

I also like that on the Cat of the Day page, at the bottom there are the small photos of the previous week's cats, and the name comes up when you hover over the picture.

Something I would like: at the top of the Pet Talk Forum pages, there are small photos of today's Dog, Cat, and Pet. It would be nice if the name of each was with each photo. Also with the photos of Yesterday's Cat, Today's Dog, and Today's Pet on the COTD page (and corresponding photos and pages on DOTD and POTD).

Pet Talk is an absolute treasure, and you and Paul do a fabulous job with it, Karen. THANK YOU BOTH SO VERY MUCH!!!!!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
"Cats," he said eventually. "Cats are nice."

I meant this - but if I widen the window, it looks OK. The second pic is what I referred to.

Oh, okay! That makes more sense - it is here on Pet Talk, not on the archive pages! You had me puzzled there for a minute!

I like it! Definitely for fast connections, though.
