    Congratulations, William and Kate

The royal baby was born today, a sturdy little boy, 8 pounds, 9 ounces!

I heard on the news that Kate and baby were discharged from the hospital today - I am surprised they didn't stay another day. They haven't chosen a name yet. I wonder what name they will give him.

If he isn't called Arthur, Monty Python's will be disappointed.

James, George or Philip will most likely be one of them, though.

Someone online somewhere suggested Spencer, Diana's maiden name. I doubt that name will be anywhere in there, though.

His name is George Alexander Louis.
He will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.

Wow, I really like the photos in #10, thank you, Catty1! Does Kate wear Princess Diana's ring? She looks wonderful and not at all like she just had a baby. I remember when William and Harry were born, I was in high school.

Yes, she does wear the ring. You can see it on her hand in the large photo.

I am so glad the baby is here and he is healthy. Kate and William look so happy and Kate is beautiful as usual. I hope the newspeople will leave them alone but I guess that won't happen. Congrats and Good Luck to them!
