I'm very sorry for your loss of Lady.
I'm very sorry for your loss of Lady.
I am so very sorry. Deepest sympathy to you all who love and grieve Lady so very much.
Rest in peace, beloved Lady, whole and healthy again at the Bridge.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had no idea Lady was on her way out. Rest in peace, pretty girl
1 dog, 2 fish, and a praying mantis
Lady, dear girl
Velvet coat with ears to match
Warm and solid against one's hip
The couch will never be the same
How will Grandpa know he's got the right house
Without your wagging greeting?
How will Patch learn manners
Without your senior tutelage?
How ever will the family sleep
Without the skunk hound ready to protect them
Or alert them when the cows come to visit?
How ever will my legs know I'm at the right house
Without your thumping tail thwapping against them?
Lady, dear girl, your pain is over
But you do us a favor,
Watch over your humans from up there at the bridge
And send them kisses and licks and deep doggie sighs in their dreams
To let them know you're okay, and found the softest spot for naps
Slow-moving skunks without sprayers to chase
And Uncle Mac with the biscuit jar
Woofle them a kiss, and let 'em know
You're always with them, and with us.
I've Been Frosted

I am so sorry to read this. RIP, sweet girl, you were much loved.
My heart goes out to your family as you suffer this loss. Lady was well loved and will be missed for sure.
Thanks to everyone for their condolences.
Lady had been diagnosed with bone cancer a year ago, and when they did X-rays to check her abdomen they found masses between her liver and pancreas. While it wasn't a surprise to us that it was her time to go, it was a shock that she went downhill so quickly. She started having serious issues last Friday, and by Tuesday I knew it wasn't going to be long.

I am so sorry to read about your Lady. It is always so difficult when a beloved pet/friend leaves us but we have them in our hearts and memories. My condolences to you. ((Hugs)) Kay
