At first I thought he was spraying in an odd sort of way! Nope - I've never seen any cat do that either.

I have seen cats be far less subtle about it! Uncle Mac had a calico that would launch itself to land with a whump more than halfway up the door, one set of claws in the screen, and the other set in the wooden doorframe, and it would stay there and meow until he opened the door and caught the kitty!

I haven't seen this before either but my Pearl does do a calmer version of it. She'll beat on my door with her front paws so that it rattles my door.

LOL, that was hilarious! I've never had a cat bat at the door like that. Jax just sits and meows pathetically until we open it.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Oh, that's a riot! Thank you.
I've been Frosted (thanks, Elyse and Karen!).

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
"Cats," he said eventually. "Cats are nice."

Yep, it would be hard to ignore that. Thank heavens my cats never learned that trick.
