    I have read that Cats in the wild have smaller litters than other Cats, maybe because they are in the wild and Kittens are in more danger there.
    Nature makes adjustments in such cases.

    I used to live in B.C. and traveled to Banff twice. It is one of the most beautiful places on the planet! Mamma and baby are adorable, too!
