My dad passed away this morning, peacefully in hospital with my mom by his side. He's now free of his mental demons and the cancer that came from his lifetime of smoking. I'm sure he was met by my brother and sister who left 27 years ago.

I am so sorry for your loss, Gayle. I will light a candle in his memory tonight and say a prayer for him. At least he is now free of the pain and suffering that came with the Cancer, and he was able to pass with his beloved by his side. My prayers are also with you and your mother as you cope with this loss. May he rest in peace, and suffer no longer.
