Why Does My Cat . . . Head Butt Me?

I thought this was so interesting and thought you would too.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
"Cats," he said eventually. "Cats are nice."

Think of it as fist pumping between humans. Sort of a feline version of it. Bad @$$ Buddie does it to me all the time. It's to show me he loves me (and either did something wrong or wants a treat).

Very interesting article. Groucho does that a lot, especially in the morning when I'm running late and trying to get ready to leave for work.

If I am writing at the kitchen table, Oscar almost always jumps up, purring, and wants to give me tons of head bumps. Of course, he also manages to sit on my work! Cole will head bump my hands. Zoe...she might manage one on the fly, hyper little thing!

Fister does it mostly in the mornings and I love it, even though I'd like to sleep a bit longer. I'm sure it's a sign that he loves me.
